Coding - How it widens your perspective

Coding - How it widens your perspective

What is the first image you can think of when you hear the term coding? I suppose a bunch of scrambled words, numbers and definitely semicolons, running haphazardly on the computer screen or does it give you the view of those never ending mathematical problems and equations that you don’t want to solve. Are you of the opinion that it is for someone with a big mathematics degree from MIT or Oxford or do you think that it is so difficult that it will mess up your mind.

But be sure these are all R-U-M-O-U-R-S.
Coding is simply commanding the computer of what should be done. You just need to define what you want it to do and when you want it to do. Now when we have answered the question of what coding is… the next question arises,

Why is coding required?

Hmm, that’s not a very meditative question in the present world scenario which is tech-driven. There are hardly any aspects of life left which is not affected by coding. From operating a simple 12-digit calculator to reviewing coded nanoparticles intoduced to destroy cancer cells. Even the apps on your android or IOS or blackberry, else take the game in your Symbian, these are all belssings of coding.

I found a excellent example over the web, which clearly explains the necessity to code, A person was hired by a company on a 9 to 5 job, which was to manually verify and process data on large spreadsheet. He and his entire department was on 5 days a week work to do verification. Everyday each person was able to verify 9 to 10 of such datas with 90% accuracy, and this guy knew a bit of programming. What he did was he created a small program which would process a larger amount of data with a much higher accuracy. This guy, literally replaced a entire department with just a few lines of code.

Watch the video Below!
This is a just a small example, just move your head around and you will feel its presence everywhere. Even the words you are reading right now is also result of codes that has made them appear over the web. If you don’t believe me just ‘right-click’ and look at the ‘view source’. See their existence in everything.
Let me give you a small insight to the future, only one-third of the world’s population have an access to a computer, and every year the number is increasing at a average of 180 million users. So, you can just now imagine how much presence the computers gonna have in the upcoming years. From the multi millionaire tech companies of Silicon Valley to the most backward areas of the world shall be connected on the Internet through a PC.
You are reading this article either on your PC or smartphone or a tablet. Whatever it may be, it is carrying and running a whole of instructions just to keep itself awake. Now just think, what possibilities could you achieve if you know, how to give these instructions to it.
Not only coding help you master your computers but learning it also has by-products that are not only going to help you get a job but also help you in making a difference to your life.
Here’s how:

·         Coding is something that's not considered to be important in all the schools, but look at the most success stories around the world, from surfing on Google to making you first Facebook account, computers, code and coders are everywhere. It is almost indispensable to develop the future in absence of coders.
·         100,000 jobs are out per year, but with availability of just 30-40 thousand per has left a lot of gap in the field attracting huge pay.
·         Coding give you a altogether new perspective to a task you do, because once you get addicted to it, you will try and teach your computer everything you do. This gives you a new perception everytime. Helps in rejuvenating and keeping your creativity alive.
·         By the way, if you develop a app or a website that goes viral, you can be a millionaire too. All you need is creativity and dedication.

Okay, now we are aware of what is coding, and why we should learn to code. But how should we do it. There exists both free and paid sites to learn coding. A few of such sites are given below:

6 legitimate money making websites to make money online without investment

6 legitimate money making websites to make money online without investment

Two words: “Internet and Marketing”, when they amalgamate they open up a whole new door unto you which will not only give you a steady flow of income while you are sitting right there on lawn enjoying the bright sunshine or sipping a cup of coffee on a chilly winter morning but also open up a totally undiscovered section of imagination you had until date. It does not matter if you are a college student, 9 to 5 working people, housewives or even grandparents, it can generate a considerable amount of money for you, provided you work thoroughly and keep on expanding with it.

Making money online is as easy as you fill a college admission form. There are many simple tasks as such as captcha filling, taking surveys, data entry, article writing and even reading emails...

Don’t worry I am not going to ask you for money. But be careful, there are a lot of scams going on out there. Below mentioned sites are which come highly recommended and some I have personally worked with. I won’t say you that you will be a millionaire fortnight, but I ensure that if you keep on working, it won't be too long when you will be able to earn a considerable amount of money sitting right there on your desktop.  All you need is a computer with an internet connection and a PayPal a/c because many websites do not pay by cheque and if they do, they cut off a large portion of your amount receivable. If you do not have a PayPal a/c then sign up here.

ClixSense

Clixsense is an online platform which pays you for taking surveys, completing tasks and even view adds. ClixSense is a platform where advertisers pay for advertisements, and clixsense pays a portion of it just to view the add for a few seconds. PTC rates vary from $0.001 to $0.02 per click, but atleast 40 such adds are easily available everyday. You can take up various paid surveys too. It pays via PayPal and you can cashout once you have atleast $2 in your account.

NeoBux

NeoBux is also an online platform for taking surveys and view adds exactly similar to Clixsense. But before you sign up, be sure of one thing that you do not sign up on both of these. Because you will be just paid once for viewing it even if it is a common add on both these sites. You wont be paid twice for clicking the same add on two different sites.

Paidviewpoint

Paidviewpoint is a trait survey site, that means they basically record traits of consumers like us so that companies can be able to develop and improve their products. And they are ready to pay you for that. You will get surveys on a regular basis and can cashout once you have $15 in your account.

MegaTypers

Megatypers, a platform to solve captcha. If you donot know what a captcha is? Click here to find out. This website I have personally and I can gurantee you, it will not only help you earn money but also develop your concentration on a long term basis. The pay is generally 45cents/1000images but keep on working and it will rise up to around $1.20 per 1000 images. Most of the pro typers earn around $100 to $250 per month, i.e., ₹6000 -₹15000/month. If asked for an invitation code enter this: ASDB.

Paid-To-Read-Email

This inbox surely pays! Paid to read email pays you to read emails on a regular basis. All you have to do sign up, decide your paid email rate which varies from $0.01 to $0.05 per email. They give you a sign up bonus of $3.00. You can cash out via PayPal once you have $5.00.

MusicXray

Whoa! Now this is totally cool! You get paid for just listening to music. Yes, you heard me, this site pays you just to sign up and listen to music all day long. Basically this site, brings in music from new artists even reputed artists too, who want to promote their music and you are paid just to listen to them. That’s cool!

Freelancer

Last but not the least, Freelancer. Freelancer is an online job searching platform that allows you to bring in all you capabilities, be it writing skills, data entry, coding, designing, you just name. You build your profile, put in your skills, and get hired for a task that too can be completed from your home.

4 simple lessons from a great animation

I had a staggering experience viewing a movie last night although I thought about it the whole day after to figure out what are the lesson they tried to make us understand, I somehow came to figure out what should be appropriate to say. Ok, so they might be a little sensible. So, if you have not watched the movie yet and plan to, then stop reading right now.I know The Minions is supposed to be a children’s movie, all about fun and laughter with their cute and energetic demeanour. But, when I was watching the movie I realised it offered, surprisingly, some deep lessons in leadership and entrepreneurship. . The minions are actually a pretty cool animated creation, with a few facts about them that are mind-blowing.

That being different is good.

Take Risks Be Spontaneous like Kevin, Stuart and Bob di d ,if they would have stopover they could have wailed in shared misery with other spare ones. They were spontaneous yet different  they did not give up and so found the ‘boss’ they wanted so desperately.
A number of startups/companies toil because the founder/leader is scared to try something different. Only if you take a big risk, do you stand the chance of a big reward

That of all things, being kind is most important.

This doesn’t always mean a grand gesture- sometimes something as simple as the soft beds, bedtime stories and, of course, bananas. You might be the biggest and ‘baddest boss’ and your minions might have joined you because of your badness. But if you are bad even to your minions  then they are not going to stay with you for too long.

Law of karma applied to all

Scarlett Over kill put Kevin, Stuart and Bob into the dark excruciation room  which is surrounded by all sorts of war weaponry to spend their worthless life because she hated them so badly but little innocent minion finds their way out through the subway and found themselves swaying on the  chandelier, notably it was their ascendancy since the chandelier unscrew down to fall upon Scarlett overkill which explains every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind.
So when a leader is in the process of choice making he should be aware of the interaction and the seed of karma. A wise choice produces good karmic fruit and vice versa.

Holding responsibility

When Scarlet Overkill handling nuclear against the Minions, Kevin did not tremble and spurt away from the locus. Instead, he took on the liability and protected his ‘buddies’, since he was their leader and he was responsible (primarily) for her hating the Minions.
A leader will not blame his juniors nor expect them to take liability for his errors. Kevin earned the Minions’ respect and so will you as a leader when you stand up for your team.

Leapfrog the bigger opportunity

In the face of  everything Scarlet Overkill did to the Minions, Kevin did run behind her, as she was the biggest super villain he had ever known (a genetic flaw of the Minions). But the moment Kevin lay his eyes on Felonious Gru he knew—here was a bigger, better villain.

Many leaders, especially startup founders, cannot let go of their product or the market they were targeting even if a bigger opportunity slaps them in the face. Don’t be so united to your idea that you do not maneuver a larger market.

Knock Knock? Who's that? It's me winter knocking at your door

The season’s  is exciting, but after a few months, winter doldrums can set in if you don't strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle during the cold weather. However, if you keep busy, focus on your loved ones, and challenge yourself, you can enjoy winter just as much as you do the warmer months. Here are five ways to make sure that, even when your body is telling you to hibernate, you can keep healthy and fit, no matter what the weather's like.

Have a hearty breakfast

Winter is the perfect season for oatmeal. Eating a warm bowlful on a cold morning isn't just a delicious way to start your day, it also helps boost your intake of starchy foods and fibre.
These give you energy and help you feel fuller for longer, stopping the temptation to snack mid-morning. Oats also contain lots of vital vitamins and minerals.

Drink more milk

You are 80% more likely to get a cold in winter, so making sure your immune system is in tip-top condition is important. Milk and dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt and fromage frais are great sources of protein and vitamins A and B12.
They're also an important source of calcium, which helps keep our bones strong. Try to go for semi-skimmed or skimmed milk – rather than full-fat – and low-fat yoghurts.

Try new activities for the whole family

Don't use the cold winter months as an excuse to stay in and lounge around. Instead, get out with the whole family to try out a new activity  Regular exercise helps control your weight, boost your immune system, and is a good way to break the tension that can build if the family is constantly cooped up inside the house.

Eliminate your sleep debt

"On average we sleep six-and-a-half hours a night, much less than the seven to nine hours” as recommended by Harvard Health Publication ,which aims to raise awareness of the importance of a good night's sleep for health and wellbeing.
But in winter, we naturally sleep more because of the longer nights. "It's perfectly natural to adopt hibernating habits when the weather turns cold," says Jessica. "Use the time to catch up."

Eat more fruit and veg

Summer time is so easy for consuming fresh fruits and vegetables. There are so many delectable foods available at your fingertips. Once winter rolls around, the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables begins to get a little scarce. Sure you can buy most fruits and vegetables year round at the grocery store but let’s face it, the taste and quality just is not the same. And after a while bananas everyday get a little old.

You can find plenty of ways to reap all the health benefits of produce even when it is freezing cold outside. Try to purchase seasonal produce as much as possible. We tend to eat less fresh fruits and vegetables during the winter as we fill up on other foods. Focus on fresh produce to keep you healthy during the cold months ahead.

Ego - Friend? Adversary? Upto You?

Ego, maybe a three lettered word, seemingly small, but has deep implications throughout your life. Whether you ignore it or forget it whatsoever, it finds a way to manifest by infesting itself into the very thing that makes us human, i.e., emotions. Emotions are what makes us human but ego enters our emotion disguising itself in the form self respect and feeds itself. We mostly ignore the fact that it is ego that blinds our decision making, and believe that it was our self-respect, that hurts. So this article that you are reading will answer the four most typical questions in context to ego, and by the time you end reading you will have gained complete control over your ego. So, what are the questions we would like to answer?

1.       What is ego?

2.       What is the difference between self respect and ego?

3.       What are the outcomes of being egoistic?

4.       How can ego help you become successful?

5.       When you understand your ego is out of control and how to control it?

So, What Is E-G-O?

In the terms of a common man Ego can be said to be the pride about oneself. Awareness of the self, pride, conceit and ‘i’ness are words related to it. But, from a spiritual perspective, ego means considering oneself to be distinct from others due to self-identification with the physical body and impressions in various centres of the subtle body. In short ego is leading our life as per the thinking that our existence is limited to our 5 senses, mind, and intellect and identifying with them to various degrees. Thoughts such as my body and mind, my intellect, my life, my wealth, my wife and children, I should acquire happiness, etc. arises from ego alone.

Now that you have an idea of what ego is, you will say that ‘i’ness is your identity, your self-respect, but let me remind you E-G-O and self esteem are quite opposite to one another. It seems that your ego happens to be the same and sometimes gets difficult to differentiate. But below mentioned are a few points that will surely help you in getting an insight whether the pinch you are getting is your self-esteem or your ego.

Change in confidence level:

A.       While you are facing a situation where you feel that your self-esteem is being hurted but you can’t decide whether it is surely your esteem or you E-G-O is playing the role of a devil, then just put this parameter to a try. For example: - You are playing a game of chess with an expert who has 10 years of experience, and supposedly you lost. This loss will make you feel that you are not a very good player of the game and you need more practise but you won’t be feeling low of yourself. But if you unfortunately, loose the same game to a boy who is much younger than you but is more creative in his strategies, you feel like you have been smashed to the last bit. That’s the basic difference between your E-G-O an E-S-T-E-E-M. You ego will break your confidence along with itself but your self –respect never breaks because you do not loose your confidence in your abilities.

Ego causes confusion and insecurity where as respect on self brings stability and assurance:

Another aspect of ego is that it will arise out of confusion and fear within your mind, and will also end in the same effect. On the other hand self-respect comes when one has achieved confidence in his abilities.  The former shall always be in need of something else for comparing itself, but you esteem builds itself on its own, so there remains no way that self respect can breakdown hurting your feelings.

This feeling in self, that he alone is supreme, gives rise to E-G-O. This supreme feeling seems very positive but has huge negative influence over self. Let’s site out a few:

Failure in communicating

A.       Did you see the layer of oil that floats over water but doesn’t mix with it. That exactly what happens with your E-G-O, it forms a shell all over your soul, and you keep on trying to maintain that persona in public, and by the time you loose all your personal characteristics. This subsequently happens to be the biggest misfortunes because you lose your originality this way. When you loose originality you loose mostly everything.

Stagnancy

A.       Life is like a river, neither you can stop nor you can stop the flow. If you do stop, your life becomes dead like the Dead Sea. E-G-O does this same thing for you. It covers you like a thick fat stopping you to bring necessary change to your life.

     Judgement

A.       “Judge not that ye may not be judged. - Christ” For comparison E-G-O needs something to compare. This comparison subsequently gives rise to judgement. This judgement again steps up to compare and comparison again gives rise to judgement and so on, the cycle continues. This cycle boost your ego making you self involved within yourselves, narrowing your vision.

Now, that you know how devastating your ego can be, let see a altogether different side to it. Ego can also act in a positive way if you are able to direct it. Sometimes you may feel in total control, but it already gets too late when you realise that it was not you but your ego on the driver’s seat. But remember, you are the boss, you can direct it to whichever way you want and aim it to shoot towards your positivity, it can also make a revolutionary impact.

Success Driven

A common goal for everyone is to be successful. But a egoistic person is success driven. He heads the way where success is and will not stop until he reaches it. These people are cooperative but competitive and sometimes impulsive

Pushing across limits

Inventions are invented, businesses are built, cures for diseases are discovered, houses providing warmth and comfort for families, and every modern convenience that makes our lives easier have come about because a whole lot of people had and have egos.

But everything in this world must maintain a balance. Similar is the case when you are directing you Ego. You must keep a vigil check. Seeing whether you are in the correct way or not. If you ever find that you ego is going negative simply follow these steps to bring them into control and direct them again.

Notice the negative ego. Knowing is half the battle. Start trying to catch your negative ego      in the act of spinning tales around what’s happening.

Focus on the facts. Ask yourself, “What’s actually happening right now?”, “Is the trying to        build or destruct?”

Use your positive ego on your negative ego. You can actually use the tactic of non- judging observation on your negative ego itself. If you’re agitated, simply notice, “What’s happening?” Whatever you observe in yourself–whether it’s judgement, irritation, despair, guilt. You will find an answer to your question.

Break out your inner nurturing parent. Imagine your negative ego is a young child that is frightened, insecure, or panicked. Give it some unconditional love and compassion. This will give you a dominating lead on it.

So now that you are all aware regarding every aspect of this big pothole and how to climb out of it and use it to you benefit. All thats left is implementing it. Now thats upto you. Just don’t forget to share it with us!!
